Unbuttoned Contemporary Maternity has a rocker mentality (the music kind) and oozes celeb style. From the graphic rock star tees to the “tattooed” onsies and shirts for little ones, the maternity store’s products have an edgy feel that perfectly defines the rockin’ mama.

One of the drawbacks we encountered was that many items seemed to be out of stock which may translate into the site not being updated frequently.

Unbuttoned Contemporary Maternity’s tools consist of a personal shopper via an 800 number, a wish list and a number of informational links. The site’s community features consist of a newsletter and a blog.

The site has a clean, contemporary design which makes the cutesy logo stick out like a sore thumb. The scrapbooky font really doesn’t say “contemporary”. Unbuttoned Contemporary Maternity also doesn’t specify the methods of payment accepted. When you go through the checkout process, you’re asked to enter your credit card but there isn’t a listing of accepted cards. We finally found a couple of examples when we clicked on the explanation button for the Card Verification Code. The pop up box showed Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards so we’re assuming those are the only cards the site will accept.

Unbuttoned Contemporary Maternity’s customer service includes email support, FAQs pages, several phone numbers, an online form and a search feature. The site has online order tracking and free shipping on domestic orders over $100. Unbuttoned also has a brick and mortar store in Englewood, New Jersey.
